A Farm Camp Near San Antonio With Real Hands-On Learning
At Winding Branch Ranch, we believe kids learn best when they can see, touch, taste and explore.
Culinary Camp: Farm to Fork is designed for campers who are curious about cooking, gardening, animals, nature or life on the farm. Each day, campers will spend time outdoors learning about ingredients, harvesting from the garden when available and preparing recipes that connect back to the land.
This is not a sit-still summer camp. Campers will be active, engaged and learning through hands-on experiences.
What Campers Will Do
During Culinary Camp, campers will:
Harvest fresh ingredients
Cook and taste farm-fresh recipes
Learn basic kitchen and food preparation skills
Explore the connection between farms, food and community
Spend time outdoors at Winding Branch Ranch
Take home their own cookbook
The goal is simple: help kids understand that food does not just appear on a plate. It starts with soil, seeds, care, patience and people.
