Celebrate International Mud Day with a full day of outdoor play, nature exploration, animal encounters, and wonderfully messy hands-on learning.
A Day Made for Messy, Meaningful Fun
Mud isn’t just dirt and water—it’s imagination, discovery, sensory play, and connection to the natural world.
At Winding Branch Ranch, campers will dig, splash, build, create, and explore through open-ended outdoor experiences designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and joy.
This one-day camp gives kids space to play freely, get messy, and simply be kids outdoors.
What to Expect?
Campers will enjoy:

Hands-on muddy play
Mixing, building, creating, experimenting, and exploring with mud and natural materials.

Nature-based learning
Opportunities to explore soil, water, textures, and the outdoor world in meaningful ways.

Creative earth-inspired projects
Art and expression using natural, earth-based materials.

Animal interactions
Time with our rescued farm animals, including our muddiest residents—the pigs!

Free outdoor play
Space to move, imagine, laugh, get dirty, and connect with nature.

Meet the Mud Experts
No one understands mud quite like pigs!
Campers will have the chance to safely and respectfully observe and interact with our pigs while learning why they love mud so much—from staying cool in the Texas heat to protecting their skin.

A Note for Parents
