About the event
Once a month, families are invited to the sanctuary to learn about the amazing world of bees, butterflies, flowers, and other pollinators. Each gathering begins with a short 30-minute pollinator lesson featuring movement, simple crafts, and hands-on exploration designed for young children.
After the lesson, families are welcome to enjoy a picnic they’ve packed from home while spending time in the peaceful setting of Winding Branch Ranch. It’s a wonderful opportunity for little ones to explore nature, observe the garden, and connect with animals and other families.
Pollinator Picnics are designed to be relaxed, playful, and sensory-friendly, allowing children to learn through movement, observation, and curiosity.
