Rescue Ranch School is a unique learning experience for children ages 2-6, where farm life comes to life! Through weekly hands-on sessions, kids connect with nature, meet our rescued animals, and discover the joys of sustainable farming. Each week brings a new adventure with activities designed to inspire compassion, curiosity, and creativity.

At Rescue Ranch School, kids are part of the action! From collecting eggs and helping with simple farm chores to planting seeds and exploring the garden, every activity is an opportunity to learn through doing. These hands-on experiences teach responsibility, teamwork, and a love for the outdoors—all while having fun and making lasting memories.

Meet the Animals

Our rescued farm animals are at the heart of everything we do. Each week, kids are introduced to a different animal and their unique story. Whether it’s cuddling with a goat, brushing a donkey, or meeting a chicken up close, these special interactions teach kindness and empathy. Children learn how to care for animals and the role they play in sustainable and ethical farming.

Grow and Harvest

Rescue Ranch School’s Garden Program invites kids to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty! Each child tends their own garden space, learning how to plant, water, and harvest fruits, vegetables, and herbs. They’ll explore how food grows, why it matters, and the connection between farming and healthy living. Gardening builds patience, responsibility, and pride while inspiring a lifelong love for nature.

Community and Compassion

Rescue Ranch School is more than just a program—it’s a community. Through shared experiences, children and families connect with each other and with the world around them. From caring for animals to nurturing plants, kids learn that small actions can create big change. By fostering kindness and empathy, Rescue Ranch School inspires the next generation to value compassion, sustainability, and a sense of responsibility for a better world.

Session Times:

Morning: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Afternoon: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Sibling and Returning Student Discounts:

Returning students and siblings are eligible for a $125 discount, which will be applied during registration.

Pricing:

The cost for the full 8-week program, including all sessions, is $425 per student. All proceeds contribute directly to supporting our farm animal rescues, ensuring that each child's experience at the Rescue Ranch School makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our beloved animals. Acknowledgments

Rescue Ranch School takes place at an active farm animal rescue and agricultural resource . Children will be learning in a real-world environment where animals live, heal, and receive daily care. Because of this, safety, supervision, and cooperation are essential to creating a positive experience for everyone.

By enrolling a child in Rescue Ranch School, families acknowledge and agree to the following:

Active Farm Environment: The sanctuary is a working rescue with uneven terrain, animals moving throughout the space, and ongoing care activities. Children must remain with their group and follow staff instructions at all times.
Supervision & Support: Children are expected to participate respectfully and safely. A parent, legal guardian, or designated caregiver must remain on-site or immediately reachable during program hours and may be asked to assist staff in supporting their child, helping with transitions, or reinforcing safety expectations when needed.
Animal Interaction: All animal interactions are closely supervised. While the animals at the sanctuary are cared for and handled with compassion, they come from many different backgrounds and experiences. Even well-mannered animals may react unexpectedly. Children are taught how to interact gently and appropriately to ensure safety for both people and animals.
Behavior Expectations: Children are expected to listen, follow directions, and treat animals, peers, and staff with kindness and respect. If a child has difficulty participating safely, staff may ask a caregiver to assist or step in to help support the child.
Photography & Media: Photographs or short videos may occasionally be taken during Rescue Ranch School activities for educational or promotional purposes. Families will have the opportunity to share any media preferences during registration.
Shared Responsibility: Rescue Ranch School is a collaborative experience. Staff, caregivers, and families work together to maintain a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for all participants.
