Aquifer 101

Join us at Winding Branch Ranch for a special morning of learning as we welcome the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance for an engaging Aquifer 101 presentation focused on the Edwards Aquifer and current water conditions in our region.

This approachable, community-focused session will help you better understand where our water comes from, how the aquifer works, and what current conditions mean for our daily lives, agriculture, and environment.

This event is designed to be welcoming for all ages, making it a great opportunity for families to learn together in a relaxed, outdoor setting.

We’ll also have a simple, hands-on kids activity station where children can create their own take-home rain gauge to measure rainfall and better understand how water makes its way into the ground.
